During the Stafford School Board Meeting on February 25, Shannon urged the board to prioritize good salaries for teachers as part of their budget.
Teachers are a very limited resource. Pay may be what drives them to work somewhere else or start somewhere else completely, and then we never get their new ideas and new experience.
